![]() ![]() 2022 Super Duty XL trim models come equipped with a 4.2-inch screen, while XLT trims come with a standard 8-inch touchscreen.įor 2022, the Super Duty gains one new exterior color, Atlas Blue, and three new interior color schemes – Baja for Lariat-trimmed trucks, and Navy Pier and Light Slate for Limited trims. The new screen is standard equipment on Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims and features Ford’s SYNC 4 software with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, along with SYNC AppLink apps. The 2022 Super Duty will also receive a new 12-inch infotainment screen similar to the one in the 2021 Ford F-150. As Ford Authority exclusively reported earlier this week, that includes standard four-wheel-drive for both King Ranch and Platinum-trimmed trucks, which currently come standard with two-wheel-drive. Though the 2022 Ford Super Duty will be losing its underhood service light, it will gain quite a few other features. This omission appears to apply to all trim levels and models. However, it’s also losing one feature present in the 2021 Ford Super Duty – the underhood service light – which illuminates the engine bay when the hood is raised – Ford Authority has learned from sources familiar with Ford’s product plans. As Ford Authority reported back in March, the 2022 Ford Super Duty will feature a few updates including new interior and exterior color options, upgraded tech features, and the addition of some new and revised appearance packages. ![]()
